Default Palm Island, Grenadines

Hi

Can anyone tell me what the basic accomodation is like at the Palm
Island resort in the Grenadines? We are thinking of going there next
year and have been offered a free accomodation upgrade to beachfront
but it is subject to availability so I am wondering if we would still
be happy if we didn't get the upgrade and had to have a Palm View room.
We don't like being near swimming pools/bars etc. Also can anyone say
how Palm Island compares to Galley Bay in Antigua?

Haven't been to Palm Island in years, since the new owners took it from the
original owners, but really enjoyed it then. I don't think you have to
worry about being beach front or palm view. No pools, unless they have
added one. Nice, relaxing, used to serve High Tea at 4pm.. even if you
were sitting in a beach chair they brought it. basically you are on a
private island. Not much to do, but spend time with each other, scuba dive,
swim walk around the island lots of times and relax.

I've never been to Galley Bay so I don't know how to compare.

Enjoy

Palm island is a beautiful little paradise. Perfect place to stay for total
relaxation, swimming, sunbathing and sailing.
I have been on the island several times, but it`s some few years ago now. I
am sure you will enjoy it.
