Default Non EEA national with a son EEA national looking to apply for residence card in the U
I am a Peruvian national living in the UK (for 2 and half years with work permit and 3 and a half as a student) , under Work Permit Visa for an specific company.

I have a son with my ex-partner who is from Hungary. My son is registered in his birth certificate as a Hungarian national, and he has my full surname also registered.

I have an out-of-court written agreement with my ex-partner to support them with a financial amount of money every month. They both live in London, but we do not live together. My ex-partner doesn't work as she takes care of my son (08 months old)

Can a apply for a non-EEA residence Card in the UK as a family member of an EEA national (my son who is only 8 months old)?

My company might move in the future to another country so i might be made redundant, and my right to remain might terminate. My ex-partner doesn't work, she does not receive child benefits and I support them financialy.

Can someone give an advice?, Iread the EEA2 forms and guide notes, but it is not clear in my case.
