HersheyPark Question
I will be going to the park this Saturday. I was wondering if people
are allowed to leave loose articles such as backpacks on ride platforms
or is there a no loose article policy there? Also how much do the
lockers run for? Thanks, Mike

Re: HersheyPark Question
They will allow you to leave loose items in the stations. Some have
cubbies, and some you just place them on the floor near the exit. We do
that all the time at Hershey.

Re: HersheyPark Question
Thanks Danny for the info. I guess I won't need a locker anywhere
except if I go to the water park. Mike in Reston, VA. ACE member 2008

Not to be Debbie Downer or anything, but a summer Saturday at
Hersheypark is not the best time to visit. Did one in '96 the year
Wildcat opened and vowed never to again.

Good luck with the "water park" -- I don't know what board room of
suits designed the thing, but it's an absolute nightmare!! There is
literally no possible way to even get your feet wet without waiting in
some sort of line, and there are about half the number of lockers that
there should be -- so, you wait a half hour or more before even
getting started.
We were there on a none-too-crowded weekday & gave up after one funnel
ride -- unable to get into the wave pool, crazy Wonka-esque structure,
or ANYTHING else without a 45 minute wait. BTW, every coaster & flat
ride was a walk-on.
RIDICULOUSLY over-managed!! I'm typically a big fan & advocate of
Hersheypark, but they completely blew it with this one.
Never again -- I'll drive the extra 60 miles to Dorney, where they
have a proper water park.

Re: HersheyPark Question
It's not as bad as it used to be, I agree, in the mid 90s, a Sat. at Hershey
was insane. Now that they have a few more coasters and rides, and most of
all, a waterpark, the crowds are spread out a little more. Its still busy
on Saturday's, but not as bad as it used to be. Think about it, since 96
when Wildcat went in, they have added, Great Bear, the Water coaster, the
Wild Mouse, and the two new Intamin coasters and the water park. Lots of
people are spread out more.
