Default Niagra Falls info needed

I am thinking of going to Niagra Falls in a few weeks. Anybody got any
info on the campgrounds? I have my passport so either side is good for
me. I would like to have full hook-ups if possible.

TIA

Full hookups are available just over the river in Canada. The day &
night tour companies come right to the park and pick you up. Don't
remember any names.

I haven't been there since 1968 but I recall the view is far more
spectacular from the Canadian side.

3 KOA in the area wil;l be $$$ but have hookups. 4mile creek state -
no hookups but dump station probably ~$20 / night. Your call.
Canadian side prettier and better run but I would take the toad or
walk over and avoid a lot of potential problems. I haven't tried any
of the campgrounds as they are too close to home.

The Canadian side is where the campgrounds are. There's a KOA and two
others downriver from the falls. There is a bus that runs by and it's
much easier to take it than to try to park at any of the attractions.

Hank, I'm not trying to be pissy or even usurp the role I've read
about that Giant Bore has in this newsgroup but I think you have the
spelling of Niagra confused with the spelling for Viagra. Is there a
reason for that Hank? LOL Actually, it's Niagara Falls. Enjoy your
trip.

Most are very nice parks. The tour busses take you on the sight-
seeing tour.
Last time I visited there was in August of 2005. When living just
west of Toronto about 40 miles, it was a fun spot to have a picnic and
watch people.

The Canadian side also has lots of fun tourist traps, gift shops and
antique stores. There's a wax museum of famous and infamous people in
downtown Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Enjoy your trip. There's lots to do and lots of excellent restaurants
and coffee houses. There's even cotton candy. <g>

Plus the famous 'People-Movers' buses do a loop around all of the
attractions including the Butterfly Conservatory, Skylon Tower, Maid
o' the Mist, the Falls, etc. Plus MarineLand is a short drive away.

Hmmm, Hank mis-spells Niagra to sound like Viagra.

Hank, it sounds like you should turn that RV in the direction of
Veneta, Oregon. You might find more of what you're looking for there
next month than spending your time watching water run off a cliff.

LOL, corresponding with Technobarbarian off-line? I guess he'd have
to be pretty persuasive to attract masos to his sado games.

That's funny! I never gave it much thought....or was it a Freudian
slip? Who knows?

Anyway, I figure watching and hearing the water will make me want to
piss. :-)

It will. When I was there I did something I've never done before....
let total strangers hold my dogs while I ran to the john. <g>.

This is *really* important... while you are there, on the Canada side
be sure to drive about 15 miles to Niagara on the Lake. It's a
beautiful drive and the town at the end of it is worth it.
