Default Randy/Letter telling of memorial at UI

I just got a lovely letter in the mail from Univ of Illinois,
thanking again for gift, but also indicating that they are going to
"...compose a short message in his honor. It will be engraved on a
paving stone and set into the plaza adjacent to our building."

I expect all who donated will be recipients of this letter.

I hope this will be a small comfort to Randy's parents, to know he will
be remembered in this way.

I got the same letter and was just checking RADP to see if anyone else
had.
This is so nice- I think it says alot for RADP that we were able to
do this for Randy.

Yep, I got the letter, too. I wonder how long it will take them to get
this done? I'd love to get a photo of the completed memorial to put up
on the RADP web site.

I received a copy of the letter, too. Danda wrote a note saying that
she would have Mike take a photo for us. Here's a copy of the letter in
case anyone missed it:

Actually, I think it says even more about Randy that he was able to do so
much for radp, to inspire such friendship and devotion in such a diverse
group of people. Randy was the one who inspired; radp just followed through
on his legacy.

Thanks, Rodney, I seem to be off her list (no problem) so I appreciate
your putting that up. It's really touching that they all are paying so
much attention to this and going to these lengths to recognize him.
