Default Knoebels on July 4th?

I'm just curious if anyone has experience with Knoebels crowds on July
4th. I'm guessing it will be fairly crowded since many people have off
that day and it kicks off a 3 day weekend. On the other hand,
grilling/barbecues and fireworks may be top priority. It may be an
option to go on Saturday, the 5th.

Any experiences or thoughts?

Years ago Dick said that 4th of July is one of their slow weekend.

There is one way to find out how busy the park will be is to call the
campground and ask if there are any cabins or campsites open for the
weekend. This is a good way to judge how busy they will be, in the
past years the campgrounds were normally sold out, which meant a busy
weekend for the park. I sort of agree that the 4th of July holiday is
not their busier time but the holiday does fall on a Friday, which may
increase the amount of visitors.
