This is Turtle.
Hey it turned out good with what they call carpet grass. That stuff grows in the Winter and summer. The only 2 month that I did not
have to mow it was Jan. and Feb. . I would suggest another type grass besides Carpet grass for you have to mow this stuff year
round and take it easy on the fertilizer too. I had a 8 h.p. Snapper mower and had to go to a 12 h.p. snapper to not bog it down
mowing it when you let it get up to 6 inches. Now if you like green yards and like to mow. Get the Carpet grass.
Yea, if you have kids that trample the grass. Get carpet grass and it will hold up to them.

Re: Help finding 9.6 volt battery please
My part of the world has Black and Decker stores. They can fix you up.
Or, log onto www.google.com and enter in the model number of your drill --
see what comes up.
It's my experience with 9.6v drills that it's actually cheaper to go buy
antoher drill than it is to find and install a battery. I think I paid $20
each for my last 9.6v drills.

I have a 9.6 volt, Black & Decker, drill motor and charger but no battery.
The instructions say I should use a 'Univolt' battery.
When I look on E-bay, I can see a few Univolt batteries but they are Ryobi,
or something other than Black & Decker. Its a little difficult for me to
tell from the photo if the Ryobi battery will fit my drill motor but it does
look as if it 'might'.
I'm hoping someone could tell me if Univolt is a kind of generic term for
the batteries that fit 9.6 volt Black & Deckers, Ryobis, De Walts, etc., or
do I need a _'specific'_ Black & Decker, Univolt, battery?
Your help will be appreciated.

If not B&D,then look for DeWalt service centers. That's who services B&D in
the Orlando area. That where I got the NiCds replaced in my Dustbuster
Plus.(cheaper than buying a new DB+ !)

Lewis, I had exactly the same problem with my 9.6 volt Black and Decker Pro
series drill. Univolt is B&D's old system from 10-15 years ago, they no longer
sell it. Although batteries are possibly still available, they have to be
ordered and are very expensive. The problem is, by the time you buy two
batteries, it is as cheap to buy a complete new drill set.
I got their 14.4 volt Firestorm drill, and it is far superior to the old 9.6,
and about the same price as two 9.6 Univolt batteries.
