Setting the Stage:
Picture this—a radiant moon illuminating the beach, setting the scene for an unforgettable night. Haad Rin Beach, in Koh Phangan, transforms into a hub of energy, with pulsating music, neon lights, and an incredible crowd that makes each month’s event unique and unforgettable.

Essential Packing List:
Preparation is key! If you're visiting during the rainy season (Between July and October), don't forget a trusty poncho. You can pick these up in 7-Eleven for a few dollars. Protect your feet by wearing shoes, as broken glass can sometimes litter the beach. You might also want to carry a waterproof phone case if you are visiting during the monsoon season.

Staying Safe:
While the inviting sea may look picturesque, it’s wise to admire it from a distance. As the washrooms on the island cost around 20 baht, people use the sea as their resort to save some bucks. Safety first! Keep watch over your drinks, and stay cautious around unknown people; the island hosts an assorted mix of visitors, so staying vigilant is essential.

Thrifty Celebrations:
No need to splurge on drinks! Local shops offer reasonably priced beer bottles, making it easy to enjoy the night without emptying your wallet. Fancy a mix? Get a bucket of your favorite beverage for a mere 150 baht. We got beer bottles from a local shop for 100 baht.

Snack Stations:
For those late-night cravings, nearby 7/11 stores offer a variety of snacks to keep your energy levels up.

Navigating the Beachscape:
As enchanting as the beach looks, be cautious of scattered broken glass. Watching your step is key to staying safe amidst the revelry.

Pro Travel Tips:
Booking accommodations in advance is advisable, as prices tend to surge during the Full Moon Party. Alternatively, consider staying at nearby Koh Samui and taking a ferry across. You can even arrange a pick-up and drop service from your hotel to the pier, all for a negotiable price of around 700-1000 baht.

Safety Alert:
It's crucial to steer clear of drugs as the authorities are vigilant, and getting caught could lead to serious consequences. Stay wary of unfamiliar situations and never leave your drinks unattended. We had a close call ourselves when a stranger attempted to tamper with one of our friend's drinks while we were all dancing.

Upcoming Party Dates:
Mark your calendars for the next Full Moon Party dates:

2023: Nov 27, Dec 27, Dec 31.

2024: Jan 25, Feb 25, Mar 24, Apr 23.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the pulsating rhythm of Thailand’s Full Moon Party!
